TRIP FOUR: This was a quick run of medical and other supplies to a shelter in desperate need in Mississippi. The scheduled convoy was canceled because of hurricane Rita. Dee Ann and Sheree, drove a 5th wheel pickup with a horse trailer for the purpose of bringing back as many pets as they could on the return trip so we can find them immediate foster homes, and ultimately permanent homes if they cannot be matched up with their prior owners. We are going to foster the animals for 30 days (Until October 23) to give their owners time to look for them. Obvisouly the shelters in the stricken area we brought them from know which pets we have in hopes they can be reunited. We will take pre-adoption requests in the event the owner is not reunited with the pet of interested.
