This precious girl had an extremely hard past. She came from us from the Franklin County shelter. Maris is a VERY LOYAL dog once she gets to know you, but it takes her awhile to get to trust you. She needs a home with NO MEN. Sorry guys nothing against you but we have tried and it does not work. She loves other dogs and plays great with them. Maria will also get along with cats. She is crate trained and housebroken but still likes to play with toys and occasionally your shoes or other items in her reach. Maria will require a fenced back yard, adopter will need to live in Leon County Florida and be willing to do multiple meet and greets/home visits before adoption. If you have a big heart and want to give a special dog a great home she is worth the time and effort.
